Smudge is a handsome tuxedo cat with striking orange eyes and a playful, affectionate personality. He can be a little reserved at first when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, he quickly leans into attention and enjoys being petted. Smudge loves to play and is especially happy when he’s chasing toys or goofing around with his friend at the shelter, Scoops. With a little patience, Smudge blossoms into a sweet, social companion who brings both charm and fun to every day.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption contract requires you to take care of the pet and agree to return to our shelter if the pet doesn't fit your situation.

Pay Fee

Our standard adoption rates are $150 for puppies (6 mos and under) $90 for dogs and $70 for cats.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Colleton County Animal Shelter offers pets for adoption to the public. You don't have to be a Colleton resident to adopt from our shelter. Our adoption process is welcoming and simple; meet our pets, work with our team to find the best match for your lifestyle, complete our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, take home your new best friend!
