My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Help, we're in a Pickle, we need to find our forever family!  Let's not Beet around the bush any longer, meet these fabulous little kittens!  Pickle & Beet are the most charming tabby siblings, they instantly win everyone over, you can't resist falling in love with them!  Did your heart just skip a Beet?  These two are best buddies and would love a forever home together!  Beet couldn't be cuter, with her adorable pink nose and white socks.  They are bundles of happiness - so playful, so sweet and so fun!  Doesn't that just Beet it all?  You can see Pickle's gorgeous stripes & belly spots when he rolls over to play with you.  Pickle started off as the slightly shyer of the two, but now seeks out attention just like his sister, what a Pickle!  These two came into rescue at just 4 weeks old and with lots of love they are now thriving. Maybe you are missing a Beet, in need of a Pickle, so let's help these two Beet the odds and be their forever family, they'd even do well with respectful children or a cat-friendly dog!

As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive.  They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc).  Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog.  But these two should be adopted together.

You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
