My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

?? Meet Bubba: Your Lovable Pitopotamus! ??

Looking for a goofy, charming companion to fill your home with happiness? Bubba might just be your perfect match! This laid-back 1-year-old came to us with his buddy Edward after their family had to move to a place that sadly didn’t allow dogs.

Bubba is definitely a “pitopotamus”—he’s got the adorable blocky head, a big ol’ heart, and a knack for making us all smile ??! Despite tipping the scales at 51.5 pounds, Bubba has no idea he’s not a lapdog and will happily crawl into your lap for snuggles and love.
Bubba’s former family shared that he’s housebroken, crate-trained, and happy inside or out (with a fenced yard for safe zoomies!). He’s been great around children and loves to play with both kids ?? and other ?? pups.

At the shelter, Bubba’s goofy side shines—he’s gentle, silly, and always ready for a cuddle, a game, or a new friend. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, huggable goofball to add smiles to your life, Bubba is your guy! Come meet him at??430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC and fall in love ??.
