Trupurr is a sweet, resilient little guy with a heart full of love - and a purr that never seems to stop. After a rough start in life that included a broken sternum, Trupurr has shown just how strong and trusting he is.
Thanks to plenty of love and care, he’s now thriving and ready for his forever home.

This chatty boy loves to tell you all about his day and will happily keep the conversation going, especially if cuddles are involved. Trupurr's favorite place is right by your side (or on your couch), making him the perfect
companion if you’re looking for a true cuddle buddy.

He is deeply bonded with his sister, Minnie, and the two share a beautiful connection - playing, snuggling, and purring their way through life together. Trupurr takes comfort in her presence, and their bond makes

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
