My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Shih Tzu
Female, 9 years old (estimated), 14 pounds

Lolita is a senior Shih Tzu with a heart far bigger than her past. It's clear she's lived a rough life, but you'd never know it from the sweetness she shows everyone she meets. Despite everything she's been through, Lolita is incredibly loving, calm, and grateful for kindness.

She is vision impaired, so she appreciates a predictable environment and gentle guidance -- but once she learns her space, she navigates just fine. What she lacks in eyesight, she more than makes up for in trust and affection. She loves soft beds, quiet companionship, and being near her people.

Lolita is excellent with other dogs and finds comfort in canine friends. She would do well in a calm home, especially one that understands the beauty of giving a senior dog the peaceful retirement they deserve.

Sweet Lolita joins us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray.
