Meet Rowdy, a charming white Terrier mix who is living proof that you can’t always judge a book by its cover! Despite his adventurous name, Rowdy is actually a gentle, sweet-natured fellow who specializes in kindness. He has that bright, classic Terrier look with a snowy white coat that’s just waiting for some pets. Rowdy is a "best of both worlds" kind of guy—he’s happy to join you for a pleasant stroll around the block, but he’s just as content to settle in for a long afternoon of relaxation. With his endearing personality and "happy-to-be-here" attitude, he’s a true gentleman who is ready to bring a lot of love to a very lucky home.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
