Axle is a shy, gentle girl who is searching for a calm, low-energy home where she can feel safe and move at her own pace. She’s sweet and quietly affectionate once she’s comfortable, but she will need time, patience, and understanding as she settles in and learns to trust her new people. A quiet household with no young children will suit her best, allowing her the space she needs to build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.

Axle has lived successfully with other cats and even a cat-savvy dog in the past, and she could do well with them again given proper introductions. While she is able to be pet, affection will come gradually as trust grows. Axle also has a beautiful medium-haired coat that will require regular grooming and maintenance as she gets older.
