Seal was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control when his owner had to move overseas. We can't imagine how difficult that must have been for them, because he is about as perfect as dogs can get!
Seal is the very definition of a gentle giant. He is so easy going, soft, and affectionate. Staff and volunteers are all completely smitten with him, because he's the total package! Polite, loving without being needy, quiet, and absolutely stunning. He keeps his kennel spotless, waits patiently for his turn to be leashed up and go on walks, and rarely barks.
Seal was lucky enough to have a sleepover with one of our all star fosters recently, and she had this to say about him - "He is amazing. He hasn't barked once. Slept through the night, no accidents. May have been an apartment dog, he didn't understand he could go out in the backyard, but responded immediately when leashed. Loves affection but doesn't demand it. Walked well on the leash, interested in squirrels but not obsessed. Big fan of belly rubs".
Seal is a perfect fit for almost any home, both with or without other dogs, and he won't last long.
If you think you may be a match, come in during open hours and "seal" the deal!
Seal's adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
