My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Now fostered in Renton, WA**

With her tan-and-white coat, floppy ears, and an adorable little nose shaped like a heart, Lady is impossible not to fall for. She’s about 8 months old, just under 50 pounds, and—like most rescue pups—possibly a Lab/Pittie mix (though that’s always a best guess).

Lady has been fostered in a loving home with two other dogs, where she’s grown into a sweet, playful girl with beautifully balanced energy. She’s moderate energy overall and incredibly easy to live with. She rarely barks, is amazing in her crate (her foster mom reports she never whines at crate time), and she’s even proven herself to be a fantastic roommate when she earns the privilege of sleeping in the big human bed.

She enjoys her daily walks—two a day is perfect for her—and is happy with regular exercise and mental enrichment. Because of her mellow nature, Lady would do well in an apartment setting as long as her needs are met. At home, she’s content to be your shadow and relax by your side.

Lady does not need another dog in the home, but she certainly wouldn’t complain. If paired with another pup, she does a wonderful job matching their energy; otherwise, she’s perfectly happy being calm and independent. She would make an excellent family dog.

She also shines in public settings—Lady has attended multiple adoption events and has been perfectly behaved every time. Whether it’s an adventure out and about or a quiet evening at home, Lady is ready to fit right in. Lady even met horses recently and she was a big fan! So curious and interested in her new friends!

Lady is the kind of dog who makes life feel a little easier and a lot sweeter. 🐾

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and
overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non-profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media
