My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Holly, I’m a sweet little lab mix puppy!
I love people and I really love kids! I’ve been gentle with my foster siblings who are ages 3 and 7, and enjoy calm snuggles, being held, and hanging out with my favorite people. My foster mom laughs because I wait patiently for her to pick me up when she walks by, I mean, who can blame me? I love snuggling!

I’m a playful, curious girl who has some favorite things already — I love playing with my Kong, I think cheese is the best treat ever and nothing makes me happier than crunching around in a pile of leaves! I enjoy short bursts of play (my foster mom says I play hard for 20-30 minutes and then crash) followed by cozy nap time and I’m learning about the world one day at a time! My puppy pen is connected to my crate, and I've had very positive experiences in the crate. I like to eat and nap in my crate.

I've also loved having a big foster dog sister around. She is 10 years old, and we have had a lot of fun together! However, she is older, and I'll stop following her whenever she is ready for a break.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $375 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $300. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.
