Hi! My name is Scout, and I have a big heart full of love! I’m a sweet little girl who adores being close to my people. My favorite place to be is curled up right in your lap or relaxing in your arms while you hold me. Sometimes, you’ll find me exploring my environment and tussling with my littermate. I also love going on car rides and settling right down to sleep in my carrier.
I’m a very smart puppy who is eager to learn, especially when food is involved! My foster mom says I’m getting better at walking on a leash (for a puppy), and we’re working on staying calm when people approach me — but I can’t help being excited because I love them so much! I do great in my crate at night with my brother and I give great cues when I need to go outside to do my business.
I really enjoy observing my foster family’s three cats, but I don’t chase or bark at them. I haven’t met many older dogs or younger kids yet, but I’m sure I would love them just the same.
If you’re looking for a puppy who will happily be your little shadow and your favorite cuddle buddy, I think I might be your girl.

Meet the Pet
If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $375 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.
4.
Take the Pet Home
If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $300. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.
Additional adoption info
You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.
