15-year-old Yogi was entrusted to our care after his elderly mom could no longer live independently. He spent his entire life as her constant companion, and when she didn’t come home, Yogi became so sad that he stopped eating. Thankfully, his owner’s daughter discovered that he would enjoy chicken and rice and began searching for a safe option for Yogi. That’s when she reached out about our Final Wish Program and shared the following about her mom’s beloved pup:
Yogi is a gentle, sweet soul who finds comfort in being close to his people. He’s a true lap dog yet still has a lot of pep. He previously lived happily with another dog and would likely do well with a calm canine companion.
