Meet Ralphie! Ralphie is a 7-month-old puppy with a heart as big as his cuddle game. He is truly a baby at heart and wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap, soak up all the pets he can get, and happily chew on his favorite toys. If you’re looking for a loving shadow who will adore you endlessly, Ralphie is your guy! Ralphie loves people, both adults and kids, and greets everyone with pure joy and affection. He does well with other dogs when given proper introductions and would thrive with a family committed to helping him continue building positive canine friendships. Ralphie was born with a cleft palate, which has been mostly repaired, but he will require lifelong veterinary management. Despite this challenge and a tough start to life, Ralphie has shown incredible resilience and strength. He’s a true little fighter who has come through his hardships with nothing but love to give. Ralphie is looking for a compassionate, committed home that will continue his care and give him the safe, cozy life he deserves. In return, he’ll offer unwavering loyalty, endless snuggles, and a whole lot of puppy love!

The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) was formed in 1992 with the goal of rescuing 50 stray and unwanted animals in the Salem, NH area. During that year, SARL rescued a total of 157 animals, affirming the need for an alternative to traditional municipal animal control. SARL's history is one of community interaction with police, town government and the people of the community. Today, the Salem Animal Rescue League rescues and adopts close to 800 dogs and cats per year.
