MEET MAX:
Meet Max!
Max is a charming 13 lb Miniature Schnauzer who will be turning 4 years old this upcoming February. He was originally purchased from a breeder as a young puppy along with his brother, Milo. Sadly, when their owner could no longer care for them, Max found himself searching for a new forever home.
Max is a sweet, affectionate boy who truly enjoys attention and being close to his people. He’s a relatively quiet companion with a gentle demeanor, making him a wonderful match for a calm, loving household. One of his cutest quirks? Max loves wearing cozy sweaters during chilly winter days and looks quite handsome bundled up!
He enjoys going for walks, car rides, and has demonstrated a solid understanding of house manners. Max has done well meeting other dogs and has not shown any issues with cats, making him a flexible fit for many homes. He also finds comfort in his crate and will happily go in on his own when he wants a little downtime.
Max would likely do best with older, dog-savvy children who can respect his space. As a Miniature Schnauzer, he will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
Most of all, Max is looking for a family who will shower him with the love, attention, and stability he deserves. If you’re searching for a loyal, gentle companion who loves to be near his people, Max may be the perfect addition to your home.
Max is:
Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
Dewormed
Heartworm Tested: Negative
Receiving Heartworm and Flea Prevention
Microchipped
Neutered
ADOPTION FEE: $375
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry.
Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.
While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
