My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beef — the big head, big heart, big softie!
Beef is a lovable hunk with a whole lot of charm packed into that massive noggin. Don’t be fooled by his tough-guy look — he’s as sweet as they come. Beef gets along great with other dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, and absolutely lives for playtime. Toys? He thinks they were invented just for him.

Whether he’s trotting beside you on a walk or proudly carrying his favorite toy around, Beef brings joy everywhere he goes. He’s the perfect blend of goofy, gentle, and genuinely good-natured.

If you're looking for a big dog with an even bigger heart, Beef is ready to be your new best friend!Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
