My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bert 💙

Bert is a super cuddly Chihuahua mix who is happiest when he’s curled up close to his people. This sweet little guy thrives in a calm, cozy environment where he can relax, soak up affection, and be part of a loving routine. Bert isn’t asking for much—just a peaceful home, a warm lap, and a forever family to call his own.

If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will happily keep you company on quiet evenings and make your house feel like home, Bert may be the perfect match. Come meet this lovable cuddle bug and let him show you just how special he is. 🐾Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
