EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE
CLOSE OF BUSINESS SATURDAY 12/27/25
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY THROUGH PACC

Name: Sadie
Animal ID: A839301
Age: 1 year 10 months
Weight: 54lbs
Web Link: 24Petconnect: Lost, Found, and Adoptable Animals
About: Meet Sadie an adorable Black & White Short-Faced Mix (Think Boxer/Bully/Pitty perfection!)
Sadie is looking for a very special hero! This girl is the definition of “dang adorable” and has so much personality packed into her 1-year-old frame. She was surrendered to PACC in mid-November after living with her previous family for 10 months, so we have a great “inside scoop” on what makes her heart happy.
The Best of Sadie:
•When the Arizona desert gets chilly, Sadie loves nothing more than a warm pair of jammies.
•Her absolute favorites are peanut butter and pumpkin. If you have those, you have her full attention!
•She is crate trained, has mastered the doggie door, and is a total pro on car rides.
•She loves her people, loves her toys, and is a smart cookie who has already completed two rounds of training at PetSmart!
What Sadie Needs: Sadie is a smart girl with a “busy” brain. To keep her from getting destructive, she needs a family that will provide her with fun enrichment and use her crate training when she’s left alone.
Her Boundaries:
•No Sharing: Sadie is very clear about one thing—she does not want to share her food, treats, or toys with other pets or people. Because of this resource guarding, she is looking for a home where she can be the only pet (no dogs, cats, or other animals).
•Adults or Older Kids Only: Because Sadie doesn’t know the difference between a child’s toy and her own, she needs a home with no children or older, savvy kids who understand her boundaries.
•Training is a Must: Her new family should understand resource guarding and be committed to working with a professional trainer to keep everyone safe and successful.
•Visitor Protocol: Sadie isn’t a fan of meeting new people in the home. She’ll need a family that can utilize her crate or a separate room when guests come over, or someone willing to do slow, proper introductions.
Sadie is currently on a deadline and needs to find her forever home
How to Adopt: Please do not call or email—PACC is very busy! If you have a quiet home, a love for short-faced pups, and a commitment to helping a smart dog succeed, please come down to the shelter in person and ask to meet Sadie.
