Choli and her family (Bunny, Benito, Titi, Dakiti, and Mia) were rescued together from Puerto Rico’s El Yunque Rainforest. While out on a hike, their mama, Bunny, was spotted on the side of the road and, after some time, led the way to her kittens hidden among the trees, rain, and earth. Choli and her family made the journey home with us from Puerto Rico and are now affectionately known as our Bad Bunny babies.
Choli is a beautiful domestic short hair with very short, sleek fur and a look you won’t forget. She is mostly white with stunning brown and fawn swirls that curl across her coat (think Cinnabon). With her huge ears and big, expressive eyes, she has an absolutely unforgettable face.
Choli was named after the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, where Bad Bunny had his summer residence at the same time she and her litter were found. Like her namesake, Choli has a bold, charming presence and a personality that draws people right in.
From the moment she came into our care, Choli showed herself to be incredibly friendly, affectionate, and funny. She loves attention and seeks out snuggles whenever possible. This sweet girl is especially talented at keeping warm and has no problem using you as her personal heating pad if the opportunity presents itself.
She is playful, social, and full of personality, but she also settles easily and truly enjoys being close to her people. Choli does well with other cats and children, and would likely be comfortable with a calm, cat-friendly dog if given with a proper introduction.
Choli is spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative.
If you are looking for a cuddly, affectionate kitten with a unique look, a playful sense of humor, and a special story that began in the rainforest, Choli may be the perfect match for your home.

More about this rescue
King’s Pride Kitten Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) organization located in central New Jersey. We are a small volunteer and foster-based rescue/ adoption service focused on rescuing, caring for, and adopting out orphaned kittens that might otherwise be euthanized, or die of illness on the street.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as shelters closed and rescues were overwhelmed, we realized there was a profound and urgent need for rescues, fosters, and adoption services. Without our help, many kittens would be left homeless, living on the streets and, ultimately, adding to the feral population. We love what we are doing and hope to continue saving these tiny felines way after the pandemic is under control and shelters start opening their doors again. We function solely on donations from people like you, and we are working hard to save as many little lives as we can by getting our kittens adopted into loving forever homes.
