Shia is a handsome 5 year old black and tan coonhound who's equal parts goofy, loyal, and lounge loving. He's an 80lb sweetheart who adores his people, enjoys sniffy walks, and thinks a soft couch is the best place to be.
He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, does well with cats, and is friendly with new people once he has a moment to check things out. He's housebroken, crate trained, knows a whole list of commands, and has great manners when left home alone.
Shia's one big rule? Don't wake the sleeping hound! He startles when touched while asleep, so a home without young children (and with a cozy bed or crate he can retreat to for some alone time) will make him feel safe and happy. He's also used to being fed separately from other dogs and thrives with a routine.
