My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mabel, a breathtaking grey tabby with big, soulful eyes, the prettiest silver stripes, and a bright white bib that makes her look permanently dressed for a special occasion. She’s the kind of beauty who makes you stop mid sentence and say, “Wait… are you real?”

Mabel has that classic tabby charm with a little extra sparkle. She’s curious, observant, and quietly confident, like she’s always taking in the room and deciding where the coziest spot will be (and yes, she will pick the best one). Give her a little time to settle in and she’ll show you her sweet side, the one that says she’s happiest when she’s near her people, supervising your day and collecting admiration like it’s her job.

If you’re looking for a gorgeous companion to share calm mornings, cozy evenings, and plenty of “how are you this cute” moments, Mabel is ready to make your home her forever runway.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
