My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arnold is a sweet, kinda shy guy that you almost never know is around because he's so quiet and well-mannered. He loves treats and will walk great once on a leash but doesn’t like getting his leash on. He does very well going potty outside. He will need a caring and patient adopter because he is still scared to be touched or loved on. We know with time he will get better. He will play with toys from time to time and he gets along with everyone, people and other pups, but he likes to just be by himself and chill a lot.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
