My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🎉 Meet Jubilee

5 months old | 27 lbs | Female | Sweet, Shy, Gentle

Jubilee is a gentle, affectionate puppy who is still learning that the world is a safe place. She was part of a litter that was dumped and brought to animal control, and she’s now in foster care getting the love and patience she deserves.

Jubilee is a sweet, shy, and submissive girl who does well with other dogs and cats. She’s still in her decompression period but has shown herself to be friendly and relaxed around other animals. She is respectful with food, toys, and bones and has a soft, gentle nature.

She is working on potty training, with occasional accidents, and is somewhat crate trained. On leash, Jubilee can be nervous and may “pancake,” so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to help build her confidence at her own pace. A fenced yard and a calm, supportive home will help her thrive.

Jubilee has typical puppy habits like counter surfing and grabbing items she shouldn’t, but she takes redirection well and is eager to learn. With guidance, training, and reassurance, she will blossom.

Jubilee is incredibly sweet and loving and will do best with a family committed to helping her gain confidence and feel secure. With time and trust, she’s going to be a wonderful, loyal companion. 💛🐾

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
