My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

A volunteer writes: At the Care Center one night, a jet-black beauty uses her amber eyes to call me over. It's Deli, sitting like a queen in her cat condo. Like most cats, she's cautious at first, but curious about me. After some slow blinks and sweet talk, she inches closer to me, meowing softly as if to say she's accepted me as a friend. We bat around toys together, and I can tell she's relaxed and comfortable with humans and really wants one to call her own. Deli came to us without a backstory, and she's not the kind of cat who initially solicits attention and pettings. But don't let that stop you from meeting this sweet lady--who has what it takes to be the best friend, partner in crime, and sidekick you're looking for.
