Meet the Pet
This helps Peninsula CatWorks with pet care costs.
Lizzie is bonded with her brother Luka. They are both very sweet. Lizzie can be a little bit shy at first, but once you show her that you want to pet her or try to call her she is very receptive to anyone, all genders. Lizzie is tied to her brother, but could be around other cats if they were properly introduced. She would absolutely need to be rehomed with her brother as they are a bonded pair. She is food motivated and can easily be won over with treats. She also loves to play just like her brother with the stick toys that have the attachment on the end. If you pet her brother, she instantly comes running to be pet as well. She has the cutest most softest meow. Everyone who has heard it always says “awww”.
Lizzie was rescued by my roommate when she was lonely and wanted to have cats to fill the void of not having a boyfriend. She grew up with her brother and became very close to him. She was then starting to be neglected by my roommate once my roommate got a boyfriend. We are all moving out of the house. The roommate moved out first and made a comment to me saying she was going to make these cats homeless and they need to be outside cats and fend for themselves and catch a mouse if they’re hungry. These cats have never been outside their whole entire lives. These are strictly indoor cats. When I came home one day the cats were outside, and my roommate had officially left. I took it upon myself to bring them inside and foster them as long as I can, till I can find them a loving forever home. Even though I am located in Sacramento I am happy to bring both Luka and Lizzie to whoever is willing to give them that loving home, no matter if it’s San Francisco or anywhere in the Bay Area.
The most ideal home for this kitty would be to live with her brother Luka, and to be strictly inside. These are chunky house, cats that love to lounge around play and give their owners lots of snuggles. They do not require any special needs and are healthy with no kind of medical conditions. They do love wet food at the end of the night and like to munch on dry cat food throughout the day.
My biggest ask for Lizzie is that she is rehomed with her brother because they are bonded and sleep together almost every single night, cuddling up into each other to keep warm, play together, and if you were petting one of the cats, the other comes to be pet as well and to check on their sibling. My ask also would be to keep these cats strictly indoors. They have always been indoor kitties. They don’t have any special needs besides someone who is going to love them as much as I do.
