With Calvin’s tight gray and tan curls and Zoey’s blond waves, this is a good looking pair! It’s not clear whether Calvin thinks he’s the same size as Zoey or knows he’s much larger, because he cavorts like a spring lamb when frolicking with his sister. Not to be outdone, Zoey has her own patented version of keep-away to make things interesting. These two are completely obsessed with each other, but they’re opening to adding one more person (or family!) to their secret club. Calvin can get pretty anxious in new environments and car rides, but with time and his lil sis for emotional support, he’ll do ok. It’s hard work being your bro’s keeper, so in her down-time, Zoey loves hanging out with her plushies.
While the pair is pretty low energy for most parts, don’t get surprised if they engage in some puppy-like chasing/racing/tumbling once they get comfortable. Both are highly mobile and love being out and about, whether it’s a little jaunt around the neighborhood or to the regional park.
Calvin+Zoey’s ideal weekend is going to be a nice long walk/excursion to the park (Ms Zoey needs time to sniff, and Calvin will need to be asked to slow down), some quality snacking and curling up on whichever part of your lap they can get hold of for some serious snuggling and napping action.

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!
