My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Updated 26Jan26

Moon

Weight: Approx. 50 lbs
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier mix
Status: Available for Adoption

About Me

Meet Moon, a 50-lb bundle of pure love who is getting her well-deserved second chance at life. This beautiful black pittie was pulled from the euthanasia list at the last moment, and she has wasted no time showing everyone just how joyful and affectionate she truly is.

Moon is the definition of a love bug — she adores people and greets everyone with enthusiasm, affection, and nonstop tail wags.

Personality

Moon has a ton of energy and a big, happy personality to match. She loves pretty much everything — people, playtime, attention, and life in general. She’s smart, eager to learn, and already picking up new skills quickly. Moon thrives when she has engagement, activity, and interaction with her humans.

Socialization

Dogs: Does well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship.

Cats: Doing well with cats.

Kids: Likely best suited for a home with older children, as her excitement and enthusiasm could be a bit much for very small kids.

Medical Notes

Moon is current on all vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed soon.

Energy Level

High. Moon will do best in a home that enjoys an active, playful dog and can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and fun.

Ideal Home

Moon would thrive with adopters who appreciate an energetic, affectionate dog and want a true companion. She’s ready for adventures, learning, and lots of love.

Why Moon?

Because Moon is pure joy wrapped in a shiny black coat. She’s smart, loving, energetic, and endlessly devoted — the kind of dog who turns everyday life into something brighter.
