Meet Maggie the miracle! A resilient little pup at 11 years old Maggie doesn’t let anything slow her down! She is a Pug/ Pomeranian/King Charles Cavalier mix.

She may not have many teeth left, but that doesn’t stop her from being the most determined ball player around. She loves a good walk and play time with her foster siblings. She’s very loyal to her people. Once you’ve earned her trust she’ll be the best friend you could ask for.

Maggie does well with potty training and is crate trained and leash trained. She does well with cats, dogs and the children she has met. She loves a good spurt of play followed by some time chilling on her bed near her people.
Maggie can be vocal when new people come to the house but settles in after meeting everyone. She may also get a little too excited and forget some of her potty training upon meeting new people.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
