My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Columbiana, the stunning girl who is officially searching for a family to call her own!

This beautiful lady is the definition of a "good girl" and gets along famously with humans and dogs of all sizes. She is even friends with felines!  Columbiana is a gentle, quiet soul who is slowly blossoming in her foster home; she’s currently learning that it’s okay to ask for the love she deserves!

While she absolutely adores snuggling, she is incredibly patient—she’ll happily follow you from room to room like a loyal shadow, or simply curl up nearby and wait for a sweet head pat.

At just a little over a year old, she is medium size chiweenie mix with a heart of gold and the best manners. She is already microchipped, up to date on all her vaccines, and has her spay appointment on the books!

If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate companion who will patiently wait for you to finish your day just to get a little cuddle time, Columbiana is your girl. Let’s help this sweetheart find the forever home she’s been dreaming of!

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
