My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Archie this bouncy bundle of joy! At around 2 years old and 60 lbs, this playful and excitable pup is full of life and love. Kennel trained and doing well on a leash, they’re eager for adventure and ready to explore the world with you.

Archie is house trained and does great with other dogs and enjoy the company of older kids, making them a fantastic companion for an active household.

We are not sure how Archie would do with cats but he has not bothered the fosters kitty.

Located in Houston, TX, this happy dog can be transported to most states for a $300 fee.

Ready to bring some tail-wagging energy into your life? This pup might just be your perfect match!

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
