Meet Kaia – A Sweet Soul with a Big Heart and an Even Bigger Love for Belly Rubs Kaia is a beautiful 6-year-old female American Bully weighing about 43 pounds, and she's searching for a new forever family through no fault of her own. Her world changed when her family received new military orders to a state where her breed is not permitted on base, and although they loved her dearly, they were forced to make the heartbreaking decision to find her a new home. Now Kaia is ready for her second chance and hoping to land right where she belongs—at the center of someone's life. Kaia is a gentle, affectionate, well-mannered girl who truly loves being part of a family. She does great with other dogs, is wonderful with children, and has the kind of calm, loving personality that makes her an instant favorite. She's both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a home, and she thrives on companionship and attention. Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Belly rubs. If you're looking for a dog who will happily soak up affection and give it right back, Kaia is your girl. She's described by everyone who meets her as loving, social, and incredibly loyal—the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people and be part of everyday life. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her basic yearly vaccinations. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
