*** Love is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***
Love #19652: gray & white bicolor, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/2/20
Cats: happiest solo Dogs: calm & mellow Children: late elementary+
BACKGROUND: Love was thin, dirty, and confused as she tried to fend for herself at an apartment complex where her family had moved out and left her behind. She started begging for food at some tenants’ doors, and one kind resident reached out to ask if we could help her.
PERSONALITY: Love got her name for two reasons: her sweet and cuddly nature and the adorable little heart shape on her nose! She has a calm quiet presence and the softest fur that encourages you to pet her (she never complains at the vet and is happy to get the attention!). She is round and cuddly, especially when you hold her in your arms, and can be carried here and there without complaint. Love will be your best friend if you offer Temptation treats or some delicious canned food! She enjoys the heights and window-watching, and it’s even better when there’s a cozy blanket or cat bed positioned in her favorite place. This undemanding girl likes a quiet and routine-oriented home that matches her temperament; she is a treasure and such a sweet companion.
COMPATIBILITY: Love is happiest as an only cat, though she can tolerate a few other cats around who do their own thing and don’t bother or pick on her. If there is a dog, it should be a very calm and mellow one. Love needs some adjustment time and a calm approach from any new children she meets; cat-knowledgeable ones around ten and over who will be quiet and patient while they get acquainted would likely be all right.
Will you fall in love with Love?
