Zavier is a goofy guy ready to steal your heart with his sweet and playful ways! He adores other dogs and would absolutely thrive with other dogs in the home, and/or kids that will play and run with him. Tug of war and fetch are his favorite games! Zavier is mostly potty trained and will benefit from a routine as he settles into his new life in Minnesota. He is an even-keel guy who does great in the car, and loves to cuddle when he's out of energy.

Zavier is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 01/10/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.

Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
