Meet Ember 🩶

Ember is the smallest and most petite little teenage kitty—and just as sweet as can be. She absolutely loves being held and snuggled and is a true love bug when she feels safe and comfortable. Ember does get along with other cats; however, she has unfortunately been bullied by one cat in her current foster space, which makes her nervous. Because of this, we are hoping to find her a foster or adoptive home where she won’t be picked on—either with friendly, respectful pets or as an only cat where she can truly shine.

Ember came to us after an adopter we know reached out. Her brother found Ember in his neighborhood, and even though she was wearing a tag, they called and went to her home—only to be told the family did not want her and to keep her. A group of kind-hearted college guys already had a cat and couldn’t take in another, so they contacted us, and we happily brought Ember into our care.

She is a tiny, delicate girl who would thrive in a calm home where she feels secure and loved. If you’ve been looking for your very own “Russian Blue”–type kitty, Ember may be your girl. She’s absolutely beautiful inside and out—and photos are coming later today!

Submit Application

Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application form on our website and submit.

Interview

We conduct a phone call with the potential adopter to go over a list of standard questions to ensure the animal of interest is a good fit.

Home Check

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will take place with the adoptable and any other animals in the residence to ensure all animals get along.

5.
Approve Application

If vetting on current pets are up to date and references check out, adoption will be approved

Sign Adoption Contract

Once all the above steps are completed, the adoption will be finalized.

Max Raven Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, foster-based animal rescue. Our mission is to save lives and rescue animals in Nebraska and surrounding states with urgent rescue needs. We strive to create a safe and loving environment for discarded and special needs animals.

Our goal is to go from a strictly foster-based rescue to expanding our home base to an acreage, to further our vision of building a sanctuary for animals deemed unadoptable. Giving them a safe and loving home to live out the rest of their days in the care of Max Raven Animal Rescue. We want to provide a happy and loving home for all the animals that come across our path and do our due diligence to save as many animals as possible from euthanasia.
