Meet Roxie, a tiny dynamo with a heart full of love and a personality that sparkles! This precious kitten is pure entertainment, promising to banish boredom with her endless antics. Roxie’s signature move? A hilarious back-hunching, hair-puffing sideways sprint, a sight she’ll treat you to during playtime or when gently startled. It's truly a one-of-a-kind show!
Don't let her playful energy fool you, Roxie is also a champion snuggler. She adores curling up on your lap, ideally under a blanket with a peek-a-boo hole for keeping an eye on you. Prepare for evening cuddles on the couch as she plays hard and then drifts off to dreamland, often on your lap or chest, or even snuggled under a blanket. Soft head and belly rubs are her go-to for winding down.
Roxie is a fantastic eater, a fan of wet food, Churu, and treats. Her quiet little meow is barely audible now, but sure to grow as she does! She’ll greet you with enthusiasm every time you enter a room, ready for an adventure. Curious and brave (even heights don't bother me...see), Roxie loves exploring and will happily dart at you if you dare to engage in a stare-down, which you can see in this video – only to land lovingly in your lap. With her cute face, feisty spirit, and boundless affection, Roxie is ready to fill your home with joy and cuddles!
Roxie is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
