If happiness had a face, it would look a lot like Jamocha Shake.
This sweet girl is pure sunshine in feline form. Despite coming from a very stressful situation, Jamocha has chosen joy. She greets the world with gentle eyes, a soft purr, and the kind of content little sigh that says, “I’m safe now.”
She’s currently growing her beautiful coat back in, and watching her fur (and her confidence) come back has been the sweetest glow-up. Every day she looks a little fluffier and feels a little stronger.
Jamocha’s favorite hobbies? Sleeping in cozy spots and being pet. That’s it. That’s the list. She absolutely melts under gentle hands and will happily spend her afternoons snoozing nearby, soaking up love and calm energy.
She doesn’t ask for much — just a soft place to land and someone to remind her that the hard days are behind her. In return, she offers steady purrs, quiet companionship, and a whole lot of happy.
If you’re ready to give a resilient, joy-filled girl the peaceful forever she deserves, Jamocha Shake is ready to curl up right next to you. 🤎An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are a donation of choice.
