Greetings, my name is Chirpy. I’m a sweet, gentle girl who found my way to Good Home when a nice lady in Long Island rescued me from the street. And though I returned to Good Home when my adopter couldn’t keep me, I remain an affectionate, curious cat who would love a human companion who matches my good-natured vibe.
I very much enjoy the company of cats and humans even if I’m not the most outgoing girl. I’ve warmed up to life in the Cat Lounge and I like to observe my fellow felines with fascination and affection. I don’t really want to join in with the kittens’ roughhousing, but I’m not mad at it! They are pretty amusing. The humans are good company too and I really enjoy their company – especially when they give me gentle pats and scratches! Though I like my boundaries and quiet time, when I come out to say hello I’m all charm and brightness.
I would love a quiet home with patient, thoughtful humans who respect my space but are also delighted to give me all the love and attention when I choose to socialize. I want to be included, even from a distance! Small kids and loud noises would likely not agree with me. I would probably be happiest if I have a cat friend who complements my gentle demeanor, but I might be happy as a single cat if I’m not alone all the time. I like my alone time but having companionship is important to me. Could you be that companion?
