Tux is a purebred Miniature Poodle, born 5/25/25. He is as handsome as they come, and loves his people more than anything in the world!
He is a 16# boy that is housetrained, but has gotten into trouble when let out unattended, which is what led him to become surrendered unfortunately. His previous family did not want to crate him which is unfortunate, and could have allowed him to stay in his forever home. However, that's OK, because now we will help him to find his TRUE forever home!
While we are working on his crate training (he does not have accidents in crate, but does have some anxiety / does not appreciate it), he is a true delight in every other way. He does like to claim his humans and bark at other dogs when they approach, but not in an aggressive or confrontational manner. He is currently fostered with 9 other dogs ranging from 15# to 90#.
Tux is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered, and looking for a home that will spoil him as poodles expect! :)
He is fostered in Sarasota and his adoption fee is $600.
