WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.
Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

DOB: Sep 16, 2018 (7 years 3 months)

This sweet girl is incredibly loving and very gentle, and she forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Snowflurry spent her entire life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. When her 'breeders' decided they no longer had a use for her, they planned to discard her. Thankfully, WISE was able to step in and rescue her giving her a second chance to experience the love and warmth of a real home. Now shes ready to start that new chapter!
Personality: Snowflurry is a gentle, affectionate girl who finds comfort in being close to her people. She loves to feel safe in someones arms and will happily wag her tail when you speak to her with kind, loving words. Her favorite place right now is curled up on a warm lap, snoozing peacefully and soaking in all the love. She has a calm, tender nature and truly enjoys quiet moments of connection with those she trusts.

Training: Snowflurry does great in her crate and is comfortable resting there. Her potty training is coming along while she is not yet going outside, she has a pretty good record of using her wee-wee pad and is learning her routine. Leash training has not started yet, as she is still feeling a bit anxious, but with patience, encouragement, and gentle guidance, she has great potential to continue making progress.
