WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care.
Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

DOB: Feb 15, 2015 (10 years 9 months)
Home Recommendation: Snowbunny would thrive in a loving home that can match her friendly, happy energy and give her plenty of the attention she adores. Shes a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to be around her people, chase them around for fun, and show her excitement with nonstop tail wags. A family that enjoys interacting, playing, and spending quality time with their dog would be a perfect fit for her. WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Snowbunny spent her entire life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. When her 'breeders' decided they no longer had a use for her, they planned to discard her. Thankfully, WISE was able to step in and rescue her giving her a second chance to experience the love and warmth of a real home. Now shes ready to start that new chapter!
Personality: Snowbunny is an incredibly affectionate little sweetheart who always wants to be close to her people. She even love to curl up and sleep on you, showing just how much she enjoys comfort and closeness. She loves being part of whatever were doing and seeks out our company throughout the day. When meeting new people she is immediately friendly and welcoming, happily soaking up the attention. Her warm, social nature makes her an easy dog to love.

Training: Snowbunny is still working on both leash training and potty training, so shell need a patient adopter who can continue guiding her as she learns. Shes making progress, but shes not fully there yet and will benefit from a consistent routine, positive reinforcement, and plenty of encouragement. With time, gentle practice, and someone willing to keep her on a steady schedule, shell gain confidence and continue building the skills she needs.
