Harold is a 2 year old, male, mixed breed looking for love in RI. His eyes are soft, his manners are lovely, and he has one of the best smiles we’ve ever seen. Harold loves people and will happily follow you to the end of the Earth. He does well with other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) and would definitely welcome a furry sibling. He takes treats politely and walks well on a leash. It’s no surprise our volunteers are completely smitten with him. Harold is ready for a family who appreciates a kind, steady companion with a big heart and beautiful manners.

More about this rescue
We are a volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter.
Visit our website at HeartofRI.org for an in depth view of our policies, procedures, fees, and exactly what they include.
Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.
