Homer is an easygoing boy that is content to lay by your side while you watch TV or work from home. He is potty trained, crate trained and knows sit. He takes treats gently and loves to give kisses. He is about 8-years-old and 50lbs of sweetness. Homer previously lived with another dog and kids. He does not like being at the shelter so this handsome silver fox really hopes to be back in a home soon.
He is good on car rides and very well-behaved in a home. He does like to chase lizards and can be strong on a leash when he sees one, but otherwise he walks well and enjoys his walks! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is a healthy boy according to his bloodwork and physical exam.

APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
