Midnight Roadtrip is a calm, friendly girl who’s ready to find her forever home. According to her former family, she has a gentle, easygoing nature and enjoys soaking up affection—especially belly rubs and pets. She likes playing with her rope toy and loves going for walks. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but warms quickly. Midnight previously lived with another large dog. She has interacted with children and remained calm, and her former family shared that she did very well during veterinary visits. She currently weighs 80 pounds, and is on her way to losing a few to get to a healthy weight.
Midnight Roadtrip is a smart, attentive girl who already knows “sit” and enjoys showing off for treats. She is easy to walk, staying attentive to her person while happily taking in the sights and smells along the way. Midnight Roadtrip adores affection—she especially loves belly rubs, curls up close for pets, and warms up to new friends who take the time to give her gentle attention.
Midnight Roadtrip spent some time in a temporary foster home, where we learned so much about her. She is a sweet, playful, snuggly, quirky girl who has a gentle, sensitive nature with a soft smile that could melt ice. Midnight Roadtrip took just a day or two to settle and relax in her environment, but once she takes it all in, she gets VERY comfy and cuddly. She was happy to nap on the couch and calmly entertain herself while her foster worked from home. Midnight is housebroken, and was great in the crate, sleeping peacefully all night long and quietly relaxing while her human was out.
This playful girl loves her stuffies! Whether it’s corncobbing them to relax or happily carrying them around while wagging her tail- she finds joy and peace with her toys. She’s a happy girl! As a distinguished 5 year old lady, Midnight always puts her best paw forward to be a good girl- she’s eager to listen to her humans. With a solid “sit” and ears perked for listening, she loves being a teammate. She walks on a loose leash 99% of the time, and is very easy to redirect if she gets excited by something.
She adores meeting people and making them fall in love with her! She can get a little excited and jumpy sometimes, but since she’s such a good girl she will immediately drop into a “sit”, even if her bum remains happily wiggly. She’s a little more shy with doggy friends, but has previously lived with a dog and is up for a meet and greet with a new potential sibl
