My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I’m Harry — a tiny 12‑pound Boston Terrier puppy who thinks every day should include a ball and a cuddle. If you toss a ball, I’m your guy. I adore playing with other dogs, especially when there’s a ball involved. Chasing my friends around is one of my favorite games, and I’d be thrilled to have a doggy sibling to romp with. When I’m not zooming around, I’m a total cuddle bug. I always want to be right next to my human, whether I’m curled up against you or sitting by your side happily chewing on my toy. I’m gentle, affectionate, and just want to be part of whatever you’re doing. I’m crate trained and sleep in my crate every night like the good boy I am. I’m still working on my house training — I’m just a puppy, after all — but I’m learning quickly. I’m also leash trained and love going on walks to explore the world with you. I’m a playful, loving little guy who’s ready to bring joy, snuggles, and endless ball‑chasing fun into my forever home. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup with a playful spirit, I might be your perfect match. My adoption fee is $450.

We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at   Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas  . This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Thank you for considering the possibility of fostering for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas!

Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Upon approval of your adoption application, an Adoption Coordinator will contact you via email or telephone to match you/your family with one of our available Boston Terriers. Once a dog has been identified as a good match for the home, the foster home will contact you to schedule a time to meet the dog as well as conduct the home visit. If you pass the home visit and the meet and greet goes well (the dog is a good match for your home/family and any existing pets in the home) a 72-hour trial period will begin at that time. The foster will collect the signed adoption contract as well as the adoption fee prior to leaving. Once the 72-hour trial period has expired, the adoption will be finalized.

More about this rescue

The Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas began in the late 1980's when it became evident that there was a need to help Bostons in need. Thus, the humble beginnings of the Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. Calls poured in weekly from pounds and individuals about Bostons of all sizes, ages, shapes and colors needing homes. Rescue of today is one that is dedicated to educating the general public about making good choices when selecting a breed and, secondly, the right Boston for their situation. Over 1,000 Boston Terriers have been successfully adopted to loving homes since we began. It is through hard work and dedication to this very active and amusing breed that this organization can contribute its successes. "Thank you" to all of you who believe in recycling love.

We help dogs with serious medical problems because we believe, whenever possible, that every dog should have a chance for a happy, healthy life. Unfortunately, our veterinary expenses often far exceed the amount of the adoption donation, and we must rely on dog lovers like you to provide financial assistance.
