Sweet Vera is about 5 years old and weighs 16 pounds. She came to us from Cherokee with quite a few other small dogs and puppies. She is learning how to be a house dog in her foster home. She seems to be house-trained, sleeps quietly and calmly in her crate at night, is learning to greet visitors and LOVES to snuggle. She isn't great at walking on a leash, so a fenced yard is probably ideal for her.
Vera is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Her adoption fee is $250 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
