Meet Celeste! She tends to be timid at first, but once she warms up, you’ll have the sweetest shadow for life!
She’s a super snuggler, but will also turn your blanket into a chew toy.
When she’s not romping in the yard with her friends, curled up in someone’s lap, or snoozing on the couch, you can find her carefully extracting squeakers with surgical precision.
She’s highly food motivated, sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, rides well in the car, and is almost entirely house-trained.
Sally Sue was born around mid July 2025 and currently weighs 28 pounds. She will get a bit bigger. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and started on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $300 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
