“Joey” is from the Bagley neighborhood of Detroit just a couple of miles from the Catfé Lounge. Joey made his first appearance in his fosters backyard in November for daily feeding with the community cats on the block and started taking shelter in one of the winter shelters in the yard. One morning durning breakfast Joey started giving leg rubs which was the perfect opportunity to bring him in from the cold. Joey is sweet, shy, affection and playful. Joey loves to cuddle and has a great purr motor. He will do great as the only cat or 1-2 other cats. Currently eating Fancy Feast Chicken Pate and Kirkland dry cat food in the purple bag.

Meet the Pet
Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.
Approve Application
The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!
