Meet Lola 💕 — A Little Pug with a Huge Will to Live
Lola is a young pug whose story could have ended far too soon—but thankfully she’s here and ready for her second chance.
Lola came to us after an emergency situation involving bladder stones. Her previous owners loved her deeply, but when they couldn’t afford the life-saving surgery she desperately needed, she was at risk of not surviving. The animal hospital reached out to Melissa’s Second Chances, and we stepped in to give Lola the chance she deserved. She underwent emergency surgery and is now recovering in foster care.
Because of her medical history, Lola must remain on a very specific prescription urinary diet for the rest of her life. This food is non-negotiable and does come at a higher cost, so we are looking for an adopter who understands and is fully prepared for that long-term commitment. In return, Lola offers endless love, companionship, and classic pug charm.
