IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT
Meet Dallas! More pictures and video below or to come!
Dallas is 3 years old, male (approx. DOB tbd), 80 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered and micro-chipped. Dallas was brought to our attention through a rescue friend sending a post, that he was staying outside in the cold winter weather on a chain. We cannot confirm his history, but will be assessing his personality, likes, and dislikes. We do know he is a super, super sweet and handsome boy who loves everyone he has met, kids and adults. He won over the Vet and staff! He learns his way around a home very quickly and understandably wants to be around his human/s as much as possible! We are not sure of his acceptance of other pets yet; being visually impaired, he can only assess with his nose, which may not be enough for him to trust others. Dallas's best home would be experienced, have no other pets, and a fenced yard would be a bonus! He loves to be oustide! Stay tuned for more information as Dallas is a new rescue!
If you are interested in adopting Dallas, please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - Thanks!
Please note, Fosters have 1st option of Adoption.
Check out Dallas's Facebook Profile and like us while you are there!
Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
