This sweet and affectionate 6 year old pup is looking for her forever home! She's a gentle soul who loves being close to her people, often showing her affection with friendly face licks and talkative little sounds. If you're sitting down, she wants nothing more than to be right there with you, soaking up your company and sharing quiet moments together. After her recent surgery, she has been recovering well and has adapted beautifully to her crate, finding comfort in cozy hiding spots. She surprised us with her playful side-she enjoys a good game of fetch, even though she's a bit overweight and she's now on a healthy diet with daily walks to help her get fit. She's nearly fully potty trained with only a couple of accidents that were more our fault than hers. She's wonderful with children and very tolerant of other dogs. Overall, she's a loving, gentle companion who would thrive in a caring home where she can continue her journey to better health and happiness. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate addition to your family--especially one who loves to be by your side--she could be the perfect fit!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
