My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mouse (#32582) 💕🐾

Mouse is a sweet girl with a timid exterior, but once she feels safe, her loving personality starts to shine. She came to us as a stray and is making steady progress every day with the help of staff and volunteers.

Mouse can be a bit kennel reactive, and may bark when you first approach. Inside her kennel she can be hesitant to come forward, but she’s been surprisingly easy to leash from the outer portion, and she settles with gentle voices, slow movements, and reassurance.

On walks, Mouse may still feel anxious around new sounds or unfamiliar people, but she’s learning that the world isn’t so scary. The best part? When you take a moment to sit with her, she’ll crawl over, rest her head in your lap, and lean into you for all the belly rubs and butt scratches—showing just how affectionate she truly is. 🥹💗

Mouse also knows her basics! She responds consistently to “sit” and “lay down,” and she is very treat motivated, which will make continued training fun and rewarding.

Mouse is looking for a patient, loving home that will go at her pace and help her build confidence. With the right family, she’s going to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. 🏡✨
